Sacramento, Calif. – The February 2022 issue of the Journal of the California Dental Association features articles on how dentistry has responded and adapted to the “new normal” of living and practicing with COVID-19, with the expectation that SARS-CoV-2 will eventually become endemic.

“This Journal issue is a follow-up to our first issue on dentistry and the pandemic that was published in October 2020,” said Kerry K. Carney, DDS, editor-in-chief of the CDA Journal. “Articles in this issue tell the continuing story of how the dental profession has been affected by the ongoing challenge of COVID-19.”

Articles include:

  • “Dentistry’s Collective Strength During Unprecedented Times” by Richard J. Nagy, DDS.
  • “Safe Dental Care During the COVID-19 Pandemic” by Eve Cuny, MS.
  • “Impact of COVID-19 on Dentistry” by Anders Bjork, MBA.
  • “COVID-19 and Oral Health Care: Implications for Dental Practices” by Jayanth Kumar, DDS, MPH.

The Journal of the California Dental Association is an award-winning peer-reviewed scientific publication that keeps dentists up to date about scientific advances, business management strategies and new products.
