Dental student research on diverse dentistry topics featured CDA Journal

Sacramento, Calif.– The November 2022 issue of the Journal of the California Dental Association showcases dental student research on hypertensive crisis in dental patients, periodontal data collection practices, the Oral Health Literacy Toolkit rollout in California, microbial changes during treatment with clear aligners and fixed appliances and the correlation of childhood adversity with dental behaviors of young adults.

“The Journal supports dental students’ research work by publishing that work annually in our student research issue,” said Kerry K. Carney, DDS, editor-in-chief of the Journal. “Students from dental colleges in California are encouraged to submit their research and share it with a greater audience.”
