CDA hosted its first Dental Team Summit in May 2024 during CDA Presents in Anaheim. The event brought together dental office team members from throughout Southern California for teambuilding, skill development and motivation to pursue practice success.
The next Dental Team Summit will take place in San Ramon on Friday, Oct. 11, giving dental teams in Northern California a convenient way to take part in the engaging and interactive learning experience.
Regardless of location, Dental Team Summits are designed to empower attendees with knowledge and skills they can bring back to elevate their practices. Learning sessions are tailored to the needs and goals of dentists, practice leaders, office managers and front- and back-office team members.
Lindsey Ono, CDA’s director of event operations and new programs, spoke warmly of her experience with attendees at the Anaheim Summit. “We had teams that came dressed up in matching outfits, ready to learn and have fun! There was really high energy throughout the day.”
Along with the teams’ high energy, Ono credited the event’s expert speakers with keeping all participants engaged and excited about the topics. San Ramon attendees will be able to enjoy the same caliber of speakers.

The wide range of speakers’ knowledge and skillsets ensures that each dental team member will gain valuable insights and strategies plus an opportunity to network with experts and fellow dental professionals. Sessions cover the most common barriers to success, including conflict resolution, managing overhead expenses and billing dental plans. All team members will leave the summit with actionable strategies to drive practice growth.
One of the Anaheim participants shared, “My favorite part about it was at the end when everyone sat down and made action plans. That allowed the teams to say, ‘This is how we’re going to implement what we learned when we get back to the office.’”
Along with gaining new skills and inspired ideas to apply in practice, licensed registrants who attend the summit can earn up to 4 C.E. units.
The summit in San Ramon is open all dental teams, but CDA members benefit from preferred pricing. Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged. Visit the event page to see the schedule, speakers, session details and travel tips.
