Part 1: Online Skill Practice & Testing (AHA HeartCode® BLS) Once registered, you will be sent to your personal email address a link to access the course – a self-paced AHA course in which you will learn single-rescuer and two-rescuer basic life support for adults, children, and infants. It contains interactive exercises, simulations, and a written test. Upon passing the online written test, print out your Certificate of Completion for Part 1 Available dates are above on the printed CPR Renewal Course schedule, referred to in the online calendar as Blended CPR.
Parts 2 & 3: Classroom Evening Skill Practice & Testing 6:00-7:30PM
Upon handing your Certificate of Completion for Part 1 to the classroom instructor, you will have the opportunity to practice the skills you learned in the online course. When you have completed the practice session, your skills will be tested. Parts 2 & 3 typically take 60 to 75 minutes. Upon passing the test, you receive your renewal card and continuing education certificates.
