QUICK SUMMARY: The new Yes on 35 Action Center gives California dentists many easy ways to support Proposition 35, the November ballot initiative that would increase Medi-Cal dental reimbursement rates, increase funding for health care workforce development and dedicate funding to keeping hospitals open among other things.

CDA and the Yes on Proposition 35 campaign are encouraging dentists to take action now to support the November ballot initiative, which would protect and expand access to health services.

Dentists are trusted health care messengers in their communities. Your advocacy is important to ensuring Proposition 35 is approved by California voters, and the campaign’s new Yes on 35 Action Center gives you many ways to easily support the initiative.

The passage of Proposition 35 would increase Medi-Cal dental reimbursement rates, secure new, ongoing funding for CalHealthCares student loan repayment program, increase funding for health care workforce development and dedicate funding to keeping hospitals open. Critically, Proposition 35 would also prevent the state from redirecting revenues for non-health care purposes.
