Give Kids a Smile 2008
The American Dental Association (ADA) created Give Kids a Smile to build support for the public and provide solutions to help underserved children get regular oral health care. Held during National Children’s Dental Health Month each February, Give Kids a Smile provides free oral health education, screening and treatment services to children from low-income families across the country.

Preparing for 2008
Registration for Give Kids a Smile begins Oct. 1, 2007. Products for events can be requested through the ADA Web site at ada.org. The ADA does not guarantee supplies. That being said, they will make every effort to accommodate as many programs throughout the nation. In order to be considered for supplies, all requests must be made by Nov. 15, 2007. Please register for Give Kids a Smile by doing the following three steps:
- Contact your local dental society
- Register at www.ada.org
- Submit a CDA participation form
The Sacramento District Dental Society has developed a Give Kids a Smile (Smiles for Kids) program manual that they have graciously made available for us. The files are in the original format. Please customize the files to reflect your program details and logos.
