This course is geared for dental ceramists wanting to achieve great esthetic results for their clients and patients. Attendees will explore the internal composition and colors of natural teeth, look at the arrangement of a beautiful smile, and learn which rules need to be followed in smile design. Mr. Roberts will cover detailed building techniques for different ceramic systems showing how to create lifelike results in the oral environment. The steps necessary to achieve natural-appearing morphology in anterior dentition will be discussed as well as appropriate usage of ceramic systems to help ceramists and dentists select from the wide array of restorative materials. Photography has also become an important part of the laboratory process. Mr. Roberts will present information on the use of digital photography in the dental laboratory. Technicians are invited to bring cases with challenges to the course for Mr. Roberts to assist with.
