CDA Leadership Applications for the 2009 term are due by Monday, June 9, 2008.

The Leadership Development Committee will confirm receipt of your application within one week.  If you do not receive confirmation within this timeframe, please contact Farrah Miller, CDA Staff Support, at 800.CDA.SMILE, ext. 5911 or farrah.miller@cda.orgPlease include your CV with your application (CV not to exceed three pages – only the first three will be provided to the committee).  A letter of recommendation is optional.

If you submitted a leadership application in 2005, 2006, or 2007 and would like the Leadership Development Committee to use your most recent application on file, complete the top portion of the application form and check the appropriate box.

CDA Councils/Committees/Boards/Officers/ADA Delegates

The Leadership Development Committee accepts applications for councils, committees, boards, officer positions and delegations through mid-June each year.  The Leadership Development Committee forwards its nominations to the Board of Trustees in August for the selection of candidates.  The officer candidates are screened for good standing and forwarded to the Nomination Committee for selection in August.  These candidates are notified by mid-September that their nominations are being forwarded to the November House of Delegates for final election.

CDA Task Forces/Workgroups

Are you interested in serving CDA and our profession on a task force or workgroup?  If so, please complete and submit a leadership application.  The Leadership Development Committee will forward your application to the CDA president for review.  You will be contacted if a task force or workgroup position for which you are qualified becomes available.
